Best Mexican in the area - hands down. Good margaritas - especially top shelf. Cold Mexican beers on tap. Quick and accurate service. Food is tasty. Strange to say but might be the best wings in the area also! We come here often with our kids and large groups after sports and they always take good care of everyone.
I’ve eaten at El Agavero about 10 times in the past 2 and a half weeks. There salsa is really fresh. The servers are very attentive, they get you chips and salsa less than a minute from when you sit down. And their food quality is high. Their prices are also very reasonable and under what most chains like chilis or Cracker Barrel would charge. Their lunch menu has options of around 7 dollars
El Agavero is our absolute go-to place for meeting up with friends! Last night they welcomed 20 of us (!!) with great food, drinks and their always impeccable service. Many thanks to the managers, servers, bartenders and chefs! We appreciate each of you.
I had the grilled talapia and shrimp with beans and rice the fish was amazing and probably the thickest talapia filet ive ever gotten and the shrimp was seasoned nice. The food was delicious. The service i do not fault the individual he did try but sometimes a language barrier is a big deal when your asking a simple question to your server and its not understood. All in all the food was delicious but the service was iffy yes id recommend this place and return for the fish.

I eat at many Mexican restaurants in the Nashville area. This may be my new favorite. Chiles Toreados was excellent! Nachos Al Carbon. Where have fried flour chips been all my life?
I recently visited an affordable Mexican restaurant that truly impressed me! The vibrant atmosphere and friendly service created a casual dining experience. The food was incredible, with everything bursting with flavor, but the piña loca was the star—beautifully presented and delicious. If you're after great food at reasonable prices, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend it!
Affordable and tasty! The food was all good and the service was outstanding! The atmosphere is nice, but there was an outrageously loud group near our table that was disruptive and rude. The value/pricing though!!! Our group of 4 ate very well for less than 60 dollars. When we are in town again we will definitely be eating here every time!!!
